Hi, I’m Laurene, a certified Health Coach specialising in nutrition and energy. Like most people, I have struggled with my diet for many years. Although I have not really followed strict diets, I did spend a lot of time thinking about food, looking for ways to improve my body image through what I was eating (or not eating), and more often than not trying to lose a few pounds.

I have always loved cooking and experimenting with food, which helped me discover new ways of eating, new ingredients, and realise that food can really have an impact on how you feel, and that it is possible to have a healthy relationship with food while also enjoying every bit of it!

Of course it is not just food, your whole lifestyle and the choices you make can all play a role in your energy levels and your health overall, which is why I love being a Health Coach, as it brings together different parts of life together, and it can be tailored to suit each individual’s life and personality.

Having two young children, I understand how busy life can get. Too often we get lost in a juggling act, and we forget to take care of ourselves, whether it is through eating enough to sustain ourselves and have enough energy to go through the day, sleeping enough or taking some well deserved me-time. Or we end up doing too much, trying to have it all and be there for everyone else but ourselves.
