From Exhausted to Energised - Real Energy for Real Life

Wednesday 25th March | 12pm-1pm | £20

In this 60-minute live workshop, you’ll discover where your energy is leaking — and exactly what to fix first, so that you have clarity as to how to feel more energised and be the person you want to be.

This is for you if you’re a busy woman juggling work, family and everything else, and you:

  • Wake up tired, feeling flat and unmotivated.

  • Are barely functioning by 3pm and reach for the biscuits, then beat yourself up for having no willpower.

  • Feel like you’re doing all the right things but are still tired all the time, and you’re tired of being tired all the time, and tired of explaining to others that you’re tired all the time.

  • Scrolling on your phone late at night, asking Google “Why am I exhausted all the time?”

  • Want to be the best possible parent/partner, you’ve read the books/listened to the podcasts, but then you find yourself snapping at everyone at dinner.

  • Frustrated that you’re constantly letting yourself down because you’re not committing to your own goals (eating well, exercising more…)

Some of these will apply.

This isn’t your fault. This isn’t because you’re not motivated or not doing your best. Or that you don’t have willpower. It’s because you’re leaking energy where it doesn’t need to go.

In this session, you will:

✔ Identify your biggest energy leak (nutrition, sleep, stress, or movement)
✔ Understand why your 3PM crash keeps happening
✔ Complete a guided Energy Check-in
✔ Choose 1–2 high-impact habits tailored to your life
✔ Leave with a clear, realistic plan for the weeks ahead

No extreme routines. No 5AM wakeups. No cutting everything out. Just practical changes that work in real life.

Women’s Walking Group

First Friday of the month | 9.30am-11.30am (approximate end time)

Next walk: Wednesday 1st April, 9.30am - 11am @Portobello Beach. Meet-up on the promenade in front of Tumbles (directions here). Register below.

Be part of a growing circle of women who walk for health, joy, and connection. This is a safe, uplifting space to move your body and meet new friends while taking steps toward a healthier you.

Bring a hot drink, I’ll bring the healthy snacks! Well-behaved pets welcome.

This a free event, but please register below so I have an idea of numbers. Locations will vary - in and around Edinburgh/Midlothian. If you wish to be kept in the loop, information and updates will be posted here and on my Facebook page (Healthy Roots with Laurene), or sign up to my general newsletter to make sure you get the information.

Note: I aim to keep our walks enjoyable and accessible for most people, but a basic level of fitness is needed as some routes may include inclines or uneven ground. By taking part, you’re responsible for your own health and safety and for judging whether the walk is suitable for you.
